Lionfish Consumption Brown Bag Lecture with Dr. Bernard Castillo to be Held on STX Campus

Lionfish are native to the Indo-Pacific Ocean and have been established in the waters of the Virgin Islands since 2011. The estimated population of lionfish in the Territory is in the thousands and there are no known natural predators to the lionfish in the Caribbean, therefore it will continue to prey on our native fish.

The University community invites you to A Brown Bag Lecture from Noon to 1 p.m. with Dr. Bernard Castillo on Friday, Sept. 22, in the UVI Cafetorium on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix.
