Individuals interested in furthering their understanding of the grant writing process are invited to register for the upcoming Intermediate Grant Writing course. Sessions will be held 5:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. on Thursdays starting June 29, 2017.
Classes will be held at the UVICELL Center, located at #23A Hospital Street in Frederiksted, St. Croix. The course is a continuation of the Introduction to Grant Writing course previously offered. It will provide participants with practical information to successfully construct and complete a grant proposal.
Topics will include crafting an accurate needs statement, securing and documenting stakeholder commitment, correctly identifying and meeting funder expectations, creating realistic program design, and submitting a winning proposal. The course is open to individuals who completed the introductory course or who may have experience in grant writing. Space in the course is limited and the deadline to register is June 22, 2017.
