The Afternoon on the Green planning committee is seeking cooks to donate their culinary creations for the 2017 Afternoon on the Green – “A Centennial Celebration of Delicacies.” Now in its 28th year, UVI’s annual “friend-raiser,” features fabulous dishes, live music and family fun.
The first 150 cooks to sign up will be given a $10 gift certificate for Plaza Extra or Moe’s Fresh Market and all cooks will receive an Afternoon on the Green T-shirt.
Prizes will be given to the top three winners in each category, which are Main Dishes; Seafood; Soups; Side Dishes; Breads, Pastries and Sweets; Native Drinks and for the first time, the Vegetarian Dishes category.
