The Board of Directors of the Virgin Islands Academic and Cultural Awards Endowment (VIACAE) Program is accepting applications for its territorial scholarship program. Virgin Islands residents pursuing graduate studies or cultural projects, are encouraged to apply for this scholarship. Applicants seeking graduate degrees to teach in the Virgin Islands at the secondary level, particularly in areas of mathematics and science, are especially encouraged to apply.
The VIACAE program was created by the Virgin Islands Legislature in 1970. It provides financial support to eligible VI residents with a desire to advance their academic and professional studies, and also to those with a desire to engage in Cultural Projects that will provide significant benefit to the people of the Virgin Islands.
