The UVICELL Center is offering a course to assist managers in gaining vital skills to successfully handle supervisory challenges. The Leadership Fundamentals for Supervisors training will be held from 12:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, and Saturday, April 23. Sessions will be held at the Joseph A. Simpson Building, number 23A Hospital Street in Frederiksted, St. Croix.
The training is ideal for individuals who have recently been promoted to a supervisory or management position and need to learn how to become a more effective manager. Experienced managers are also welcome to attend. Participants will gain a better understanding of the supervisor’s role; build relationships and morale; productivity management and delegation; performance evaluation and review; strategies for effective leadership and much more.
