Who said creating awareness can’t be fun? Join UVI’s Student Peer Educators for Open Mic Night at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, in the UVI Café’. Students are encouraged to sign up to rap, sing, share a poem or spoken word in promotion of reducing drug use and the prevention of HIV infection. We encourage bands, musicians, singers, poets, comedians, etc. (both professional and amateur) to come and share your talents in a clean, positive, and unique environment. The lyrics must promote the reduction of drug use and prevent HIV infection; must be a maximum of 60 seconds; not include any obscene languages.
