The University of the Virgin Islands will hold a panel discussion on UVI’s graduate program, which will highlight the University’s Ph.D. in Creative Leadership for Innovation and Change. The panel discussion will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 4, in the Administration and Conference Center, first-floor conference room. A reception will be held at 4:30 p.m.
The panel members will include:
- Dr. Camille McKayle, provost and vice president of Academic Affairs
- Dr. James Maddirala, associate provost for Graduate, Global and Academic Affairs
- Dr. Steven Reames, dean of the School of Business
- Dr. Emily Williams, dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Science
Program Description:
The Ph.D. program in Creative Leadership for Innovation and Change at the University will prepare learners in the field of leadership by offering an extensive study of relevant leadership knowledge. This advanced knowledge will be applied toward developing innovative practice(s) in leading institutions and other complex human organizations.
Specialization Tracks:
The Ph.D. in Creative Leadership for Innovation and Change requires that all admitted students enroll in an approved specialization track. The following three tracks are proposed with the initial program:
- Creativity and Leadership for Change (CLC) Track Graduates receive a Ph.D. from the University of the Virgin Islands and a graduate certificate from Buffalo State University.
- Organizational Development and Leadership (ODL) Track Graduates receive a Ph.D. from the University of the Virgin Islands and a graduate certificate from Fielding Graduate University.
- Educational/Academic Leadership for Change (ELC) Track Graduates receive a Ph.D. from the University of the Virgin Islands.
- Undecided

- Executive Master of Business Administration
- Executive Master of Business Administration in Accountancy
