The Office of Institutional Research and Planning is collaborating with Indiana University for Postsecondary Research to administer the 2016 Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE). Full-time faculty will be receiving emails directly from FSSE inviting them to take this survey. The emails will contain a link to take the web-based survey. Responses to the survey remain confidential. Invitation emails were sent March 29, 2016, with reminder emails being sent over the next two weeks. The project is coordinated by the Indiana University Center for Postsecondary Research.
FSSE is designed to measure instructional staff expectations for student engagement in educational practices that are empirically linked with high levels of learning and development. It is administered nationally to faculty, instructors, and graduate students who teach at baccalaureate degree-granting colleges and universities that are concurrently administering NSSE or have participated in NSSE in the previous year. For questions about this project, contact Institutional Research and Planning at (340) 693-1012 or (340) 693-1017. Additional details regarding FSSE can be found by visiting their website at http://www.fsse.indiana.edu.
