The University of the Virgin Islands in partnership with Sandia National Labs is offering a cyber security workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 13-17, on the St. Thomas Campus. Experts from Sandia National Labs will afford participants an opportunity to walk through an actual attack using artifacts such as network packet captures and physical memory images. Faculty, undergraduate students and IT professionals will learn about real cyber-attacks and effective cyber defense tools.
Registration at http://cybersecurity.uvi.edu or this direct link. For more information contact Dr. Marc Boumedine at (340) 693-1255 or email at mboumed@uvi.edu.
