Individuals interested in learning the ins and outs of the grant writing process are urged to register early for the upcoming course – Introduction to Grant Writing. The course will be held 6 – 9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays starting July 25, 2016. Sessions will be held at the UVICELL Center on the St. Thomas Campus. The course will provide participants with practical information to successfully construct and complete a grant proposal. Topics will include: types of grants and funding; proposal basics; leveraging resources; budget construction; and much more. The course is open to individuals from non-profit organizations, schools, government agencies and other public entities. Space in the course is limited and registrations will not be accepted after July 13, 2016.
