Nominations are being accepted for the annual Student Employee of the Year Award on the St. Thomas and Albert A. Sheen Campuses. The 2015 theme is “Investing in your dreams.” Undergraduate or graduate students who have been employed for both Spring 2014 and Fall 2014 semester(s) may be nominated.
The eligibility guidelines are as follows:
- Nominee must be an undergraduate or graduate student at the institution.
- Nominee must have worked a minimum of one full academic semester during Spring 2014 and/or Fall 2014
- Nominee must have an evaluation rating of good and above
- Nominee must be in good academic standing
- Nominees are not restricted to being in the Federal or Need-based Institutional Work Study Program. Please note that peer workers, institutional non-need students, research assistants and graduate assistants qualify.
Nominations are also being accepted for “Lighter Side Awards” on the St. Thomas Campus. National Student Employment Appreciation Week is being celebrated during the week of April 12-18. Awards will be presented from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, in the first-floor conference room of the Administration and Conference Center on the St. Thomas Campus.

Nominations for Student Employee of the Year on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix should be sent to Anyha Lord at alord@uvi.edu. The deadline on the Sheen Campus is on Friday, April 3.
