VI-EPSCoR will sponsor the first Virgin Islands Science Cafe, 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Frenchtown Deli restaurant on St. Thomas. The event is free and open to anyone interested in an informal and friendly conversation about science topics. Themes will revolve around oceans (animals, plants, and currents), water movements (rain effects on the mountain), pollution/waste disposal/energy, among other topics.
