UVI is celebrating UVI Pride Week from March 23 to March 27. UVI students, faculty and staff are asked to wear their school paraphernalia, decorate their living and office areas and to wear their school colors – blue and white.
Six pride rallies are being held at four public high schools in the territory throughout Pride Week. UVI will celebrate its UVI Pride Day on Thursday, March 26, on both UVI Campuses. The Pride Week Committee has planned fun and festive activities with live entertainment, competitive games, music, cultural workshops, and light refreshments.
Pride Week ceremonies will begin at 10 a.m. in the Sports and Fitness Center on the St. Thomas Campus and outside of the Evans Center on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix. More information visit the UVI Pride Week webpage on the UVI website - http://www.uvi.edu – and from this direct link.
