UVI Student Housing, in conjunction with the UVI Substance Abuse and HIV/AIDS Prevention Program, will celebrate the first HIV Awareness Day with the UVI community on Thursday, Oct. 22, on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix. Take charge. Take the test. Participate in a free confidential HIV testing from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. in the Residence Hall Office. Come out to the “Chill Spot,” an open entertainment area inside the residence hall, at 9 p.m. to have an open, real, and grown folks discussion on STDs such as HIV/AIDS.
