The Office of Sponsored Programs, in conjunction with the Virgin Islands EPSCoR Office, will conduct a grant-writing workshop on from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Monday, March 2, and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3. The workshop will be held in the first-floor conference room of the Administrative and Conference Center on the St. Thomas Campus. The workshop will be video conferenced to Evans Center room 401 on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix.
The workshop will cover grant-writing techniques for agencies such as the:
- National Science Foundation (NSF)
- National Institute of Health (NIH)
- National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH)
- United States Department of Education (USED)
Dr. Julie Palais, program director at the National Science Foundation will present on Funding Opportunities at the NSF from 9:10 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. on the first day of the workshop.
