The Empowered Sisters Project (ESP), sponsored by the University of the Virgin Islands Caribbean Exploratory Research Center (CERC) and the UVI School of Nursing, is seeking participants to take part in a program that helps them make decisions that keep them healthy, happy and safe in relationships. Any African Caribbean, African American, English speaking Caribbean Spanish, Hispanic, Latina, Mixed African Heritage or black woman, between the ages 18 - 55 years, are invited to meet with project coordinators to see if they are eligible to participate in the project. Persons enroll in the ESP will receive a monetary gift card after each session. There are six sessions in all. Interested person should contact an ESP coordinator at (340) 776-9200, extension 2234.
