The UVI Department of Computer and Computational Sciences will hold a Cybersecurity Pre-camp, on-line, for students in grades 9-12, from Jan. 4 to Jan. 8. The five day pre-camp will prepare students to take a qualifying examination by teaching them the fundamentals of the python programming language with an interface to a turtle graphics module. The top ten students will be invited to a four-week, Python Cyber-Camp for the summer 2016. The summer camp is free and students successfully completing the camp will receive a stipend award. If interested, email Dr. Alan Lewit at alewit@uvi.edu with the subject Pre-Camp2016 by Jan. 3. The UVI Department of Computer and Computational Sciences is a part of the College of Science and Mathematics.
