September 19, marks the kickoff of the Ocean Conservancy’s 30th Annual International Coastal Cleanup (ICC). The annual international Coastal Cleanup is held from Sept. 19, through Oct. 31. The Virgin Islands community is asked to volunteer on Sept. 19, at Brewers Bay, on St. Thomas, and Columbus Landing, on St. Croix. Teachers and other environmental groups are encouraged to either participate in this cleanup or schedule a cleanup of their own up to Oct. 31.
