Best Special Education Practices: Parent Advocacy and Training, Set on St. Thomas and St. Croix

The Virgin Islands University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (VIUCEDD) is dedicated to bringing the US Virgin Islands the finest offerings available globally in terms of service delivery to people with autism and other disabilities as well as training opportunities for those who work with these youth. In conjunction with that mission, Dr. Kimberly Mills, a Doctorial Level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) and Attorney Archie Jennings, the managing attorney for the Disability Rights Center of the Virgin Islands will facilitate a workshop on Best Special Education Practices: Parent Advocacy and Training on St. Thomas on Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Head Start Headquarters and on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the St. Croix VIUCEDD Office across from Spicy Grill near the University of the Virgin Islands St. Croix Campus. Both workshops will be from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The entire Virgin Islands community is invited to attend.
