Two UVI professors, Dr. Simon B. Jones-Hendrickson and Dr. Gillian Royes, will be among the featured authors at the 12th Annual St. Martin Book Fair scheduled for June 5 to 7. Fair activities are planned for the St. Martin Airport on June 5, the University of St. Martin in Philipsburg on June 6 and 7. A closing ceremony and book launch is also set in Marigot at 8 p.m on June 7. Dr. Jones-Hendrickson is a professor of economics and Dean of UVI’s College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences. Dr. Royes is an associate professor of journalism. They are among 11 authors from around the world who will participate. Admission is free to book fair workshops, recitals and general sessions.
