UVI’s Office of Institutional Research and Planning will conduct the 2014 Noel-Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI) Survey during the period of March 17 to 21, 2014. All UVI students are encouraged to complete the survey. It is designed to determine the satisfaction levels of UVI students, with a focus on identifying areas where the University needs to make improvements. Particular attention will be placed on student retention and improving enrollment.
Student involvement is critical to the success of the survey project. Every UVI student will receive an e-mail containing a link to the online survey and instructions on how to complete it. All students who complete the survey will have their names entered into a drawing for $25 Kmart gift cards. Five cards will be awarded on each campus.
The student satisfaction survey was last administered at UVI in March of 2011. At that time, the top strengths reported on both campuses were in the computer labs, which were rated “adequate and accessible.” UVI’s tutoring services received a ranking of high importance and were described as “readily available.”
