The Social Sciences Department on UVI’s St. Thomas Campus will conduct a grand opening ceremony at its recently remodeled building from 10 a.m. to noon, on Thursday, Feb. 27. Since parking space at the building on the upper campus is extremely limited, parking will be available at the UVI Recreation Center, next to the tennis court. The UVI Shuttle will be available to transport visitors from there to the Social Sciences Building and back after the event.
The building, which is ADA compliant, has been completely remodeled inside and out. It now houses the entire faculty and staff of the Social Sciences Department under one roof.
