The Virgin Islands Small Business Development Center (VI-SBDC) and the U.S. Small Business Administration will honor small businesses during Virgin Islands Small Business Week from June 1 to7. The week will provide small business owners the opportunity to participate in specialized trainings to foster business growth, with the week’s highlight being the annual VI Small Business Awards Ceremonies. Training sessions scheduled during the week include: “Mastering Online Marketing: The 5 keys to Building a Profitable and Sustainable Business with Online Presence” and “Protecting Your Business and Your Future.” The keynote speaker for the awards ceremonies – set for June 5, on St. Croix, and June 6, on St. Thomas – will be Mitch Meyerson, an entrepreneur, visionary, speaker, trainer and author of eleven books.
