The University of the Virgin Islands’ Foundation for the Reichhold Center for the Arts is hosting the first “Show of Support Telethon” in honor of the center’s 35th Anniversary. The telethon features a variety of local entertainment and more than 20 testimonials from long-time Reichhold Center fans and supporters. It began airing on Fox and NBC in November, and will be repeated during January. Check local listings for air times in January.
On tap are performances from Spectrum Band, the Rising Stars Steel Orchestra, the VI Philharmonic, Flights of Fire, the French Academy of Performing Arts and the Becca Darling Band. Long-time Reichhold Center supporters, Attorney Leigh Goldman and Deputy Commissioner of Tourism Chantal Figueroa will host the affair. The entire Virgin Islands community is invited to join with the Reichhold Center for the Arts in this celebration of 35 years of providing world-class entertainment in the most incredible venue in the Caribbean.
