UVI students, faculty, staff and alumni, as well as the general public, are invited to participate in the observance of International Peace Day at the Recreation Center on the UVI Golf Course of the St. Thomas Campus from 6 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21. Along with the meet and great session, participants will form the letters P E A C E on the golf course. All are encouraged to wear white and bring a flashlight for the activity. The observance is a collaboration of UVI’s Anti Violence Peace Initiative, Sankofa Saturdays and Alternative Violence Prevention.
