UVI’s 2014 Hurricane Preparedness Manual is now available for access by the University community from the Emergency Preparedness page of the UVI website – http://www.uvi.edu – and from this direct link. The manual includes detailed information on UVI emergency and hurricane preparedness plans. All employees, faculty and staff are encouraged to review the manual and make note of responsibilities they may be assigned during an emergency. The Emergency Preparedness web page – available from this link – also includes instructions for registering with UVI’s RAVE emergency notification system, as well as links to popular hurricane season weather websites, and to the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency – VITEMA.
