UVI Among 15 HBCUs Tapped to Bolster Efforts on Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Universities

The University of the Virgin Islands is among 15 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) chosen to participate in a new, multi-year collaboration of institutions designed to bolster innovation, commercialization and entrepreneurship efforts on their respective campuses. The new group is named the HBCU Innovation and Entrepreneurship Collaborative. The announcement was made by the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities (APLU), a non-profit organization with members in all 50 states and U.S. territories, on Feb. 12.
