The general public is invited to a holiday themed public viewing at UVI’s Etelman Observatory using the Virgin Islands Robotic Telescope (VIRT) from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12. Guests will be treated to views of deep sky objects and a waning crescent moon, among other sights. The evening will also feature a video presentation and lecture describing the science that makes Santa's famous yuletide rounds possible.
