A series of “Road to Success” student success workshops is planned for the fall 2014 semester on the St. Thomas Campus by UVI’s Center for Student Success (CSS). The first such session is slated from 10 to 11 a.m. and 2 to 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 15. Sessions will be held in room B206 on the first floor of the Administration and Conference Center. It will cover how college students are accountable for the decisions and actions which impact their academic success. It will also cover opportunities available at UVI. Future workshop titles include: How to Improve Your Memory on Oct. 18; English Proficiency Examination (EPE) Workshops on Oct. 28 and 30; Causes and Consequences of Failure in College on Nov. 12; and Financial Aid (FA) Workshops, with dates to be announced.
