UVI’s Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (CELL) Center will offer an introductory course designed to help individuals learn the basic operations of Microsoft Word. Introduction to Microsoft 2010 will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning August 12. Classes will be held at the UVICELL Center at the St. Thomas Campus University of the Virgin Islands.
In this course, students will master the basic skills and techniques in a hands-on environment. Participants will learn how to identify and work with Word 2010 tools and features, modify the appearance of text in a document, insert special characters and graphical objects, organize data in tables and much more.
