UVI’s Buccaneers soccer team opens its 2014 Liga Atltica Interuniversitaria (LIA) season action with a road match-up against UPR-Rio Piedras on Friday, Sept. 19. The game is slated for 10 a.m. at the Rio Piedras Campus.
Additional matches are planned for September and October, with the Bucs’ home opener scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4, against Polytecnica University. The game will take place at 11 a.m. at UVI’s Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix. A second home game is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 7, with UVI hosting Sacred Heart University at 11 a.m. Other match-ups in the season are schedule as follows:
