UVI’s varsity basketball squads suffered home losses in action on Saturday, March 1, in the Sports and Fitness Center. The Lady Bucs and the Buccaneers hosted UPR-Rio Piedras squads which are among the top teams in the LAI league. The Lady Bucs lost 73-31, while the Buccaneers fell, 88-71. Both squads are in action again today (Monday, March 3) on the road against Metropolitan University.
