UVI’s Buccaneers soccer squad remains undefeated at home after battling Sacred Heart University to a 2-2 tie in the second and last regularly scheduled home match of the 2014 LAI season on Oct. 7. The Bucs, under the direction of new head coach Dr. David Santesteban, came back from a 2-0 deficit in the second half, with goals from Ismael S. Yusuf and Kimani George.
On Friday, Oct. 10, the Bucs sustained a 6-0 loss on the road against Caribbean University. The Bucs 2014 record now stands at two wins, three losses and one tie. They return to Puerto Rico on Wednesday, Oct. 15, for a 10 a.m. match against UPR-Bayamon at the Bayamon Soccer Complex.
