“UVI Goes Solar“- UVI and New Generation Power to Hold Signing Ceremony and Launch Solar Energy Project
The University of the Virgin Islands in conjunction with New Generation Power USVI will officially launch the University’s solar energy initiative the Three Mega Watts Solar Project. A solar power agreement signing ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, on the St. Thomas Campus opposite of Penha House. The solar project is a part of UVI’s Pathway to Greatness Strategic Plan. The University’s partnership with New Generation Power will provide renewable energy solutions and reduce UVI’s need for fossil fuels.
