The V.I. Law Enforcement Planning Commission (LEPC) Prevention Council and the St. Thomas/St. John Night Out Against Drugs, Crime and Violence Committee will sponsor two days of anti-violence activities on Sept. 27 and 28, on St. Thomas. The theme is “One Family, One Fight Against Drugs, Crime and Violence - 26 Years and Counting.” The effort begins at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, with an island-wide motorcade from Ivanna Eudora Kean High School to UVI’s Reichhold Center for the Arts. A spiritual night activity follows at 7 p.m. at the Joseph Aubain Ballpark in Frenchtown. The effort concludes at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, with a march from Emancipation Garden to the Joseph Aubain Ballpark. A rally will follow.
