Members of the UVI community are invited to an open meeting from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Nov. 19, with representatives from the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) who are visiting the University through Nov. 20. The open meeting will take place in the first-floor conference room of the Administration and Conference Center Conference on St. Thomas, with a videoconferenced link to Evans Center Room 401 on St. Croix. UVI’s School of Education is a candidate for accreditation by NCATE. This is an important visit for the entire institution, and the representatives seek input from persons across the university.
