The upcoming Seventh Annual National Conference on Health Disparities will be one of the subjects on the Abdul Ali Talk Show which airs on St. Croix radio station WSTX - 970AM on Saturday, Oct. 5. UVI’s Director of Major Gifts Mitchell Neaves is scheduled on the show from 12:45 to 1 p.m. He will speak as a liaison for UVI’s Caribbean Exploratory Research Center, a major sponsor of the conference which takes place at the Sugar Bay Resort on St. Thomas from Nov. 13-16. Conference registration is open to local and regional health professionals and policy makers. Residents of the Virgin Islands can take advantage of a special early registration discount through Oct. 27.
