The Ann Elizabeth Richardson Distinguished Professor of Music Recital Series begins Sunday, Sept. 8, at the Nisky Moravian Church on St. Thomas. The inaugural recital will be presented by Janice R. Jackson, soprano, and Dr. Lorna C. Young-Wright, pianist/composer. Works will include those of William Grant Still, Undine Smith Moore, and Lorna C. Young-Wright. The recital is free and begins at 4 p.m. Dr. Young-Wright will present a pre-recital lecture on recital works at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Music Building on the University of the Virgin Islands St. Thomas campus.
