The Virgin Islands government will host its second annual Health and Wellness Expo on St. Croix on Sept. 14. A St. Thomas expo was held on Sept. 7. The St. Croix session is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be held at the V.I. National Guard Armory Drill Hall. Expo sessions will offer free screening for glucose, blood pressure, body mass index and cholesterol levels, as well as health risk assessments for members of the government’s CIGNA insurance plan. A CIGNA card and government issued ID are required. Guest speakers and interactive demonstrations – including healthy cooking demonstrations – will be featured.
