Food Defense Workshop Slated at St. John Academic Center on Aug. 27
A Food Defense Workshop focusing on food safety, food quality and food protection is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to noon at UVI’s St. John Academic Center on Tuesday, Aug. 27. The workshop is sponsored by UVI’s Cooperative Extension Service and the San Juan District of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Nilda Villegas, an FDA public affairs specialist, will be the presenter. The St. John Academic Center is located on the third floor of the Market Place in Cruz Bay.
