The English Proficiency Examination (EPE) will be offered on the St. Thomas Campus on Nov. 7. The exam will be administered from 8:15 to 10:45 a.m. on the second floor of the Sports and Fitness Center. The room will be announced. In preparation for the EPE testing, the Center for Student Success (CSS) will present a workshop from noon to 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31. The session will take place in the CSS learning center located in Room 101 of the CA Building. Participants will be given an overview of the exam and the grading rubric. The main presenter, Dr. Vincent Cooper, will demonstrate techniques in developing thesis statements and creating outlines under examination conditions. Participants will also have opportunity to practice the strategies demonstrated. Tips on dealing with test-taking anxiety will also be offered.
