Volunteers from UVI Community Needed for Annual Alumni Phonathon – Sept. 23-25

Volunteers from the UVI Community – students, alumni, faculty and staff – are sought for UVI’s annual Alumni Phonathon which will take place on both St. Thomas and St. Croix. Alumni Phonathon sessions will run nightly from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., from Sept. 23 through 25. Volunteers can participate one night or all three. The Alumni Phonathon is the University’s primary vehicle for communicating with alumni and friends. Volunteers will place calls, update alumni contact information, and process pledges and contributions. Dinner will be provided each night.

On the St. Thomas Campus, volunteers will be based in the first-floor conference room of UVI’s Administration and Conference Center. On St. Croix, the volunteers will work from the Great Hall in the Albert A. Sheen Campus’s Northwest Wing.

Approximately 50 volunteers are needed. Orientation sessions for volunteers are scheduled in both Phonathon venues from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19. To sign up, contact Senior Coordinator of Donor Relations and Special Events Liza Margolis at (340) 693-1053 – e-mail: lmargol@uvi.edu.
