Purpose: The 'Dreamkeepers Emergency Aid Grant Program' assists students at risk of dropping out of college due to unexpected financial emergencies. Through the Center for Student Success (CSS), the aid program was created to help students stay in college and meet their education goals, ultimately, securing a better financial future. Aid covers up to $500 in financial expenses.
Before a student can apply for aid, one must first meet with a member of the Emergency Aid Committee (see contact info. below) to determine your eligibility.
Once eligibility has been determined by a committee member, students will be directed to complete the online application.
Once the online applicaton has been completed and ALL required documentation is submitted, the Emergency Aid Committee will review your application and contact you via email to discuss the status of your application and next steps. You may also be referred to additonal resources.
Once a decision has been made, the Emergency Aid Administrator will approve, partially approve, or deny your application and will notify you via email.
If a student is approved to receive aid, monies will be distributed within two business days, no more than four business days to the designated entity or agency.
