Students in need of Academic Advisement when planning their course schedules will always find Mr. Capriola ready to offer valuable assistance during registration time.
Originally from Jersey City, NJ, he has been a UVI instructor for 31 years and has twice been named faculty of the year by students. UVI students further honored Mr. Capriola by selecting him as Co-Marshall for the 2016 Commencement Exercises and Marshall for the 2017 Commencement. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from William Paterson University in New Jersey and a Master’s Degree from St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore. His wife Olga Lucia is from Colombia in South America and teaches high school Spanish on St. Croix. Together they have two boys, Mario and Angelo.
