Expertise
Behavioral neuropharmacologist with background in developmental neuroantomy, NMDA and GABAA receptor signaling, dysbindin-1 protein functions and periventricular white matter injury. Expertise in rodent behavioral testing, experience in microdialysis, microinjection, genotyping, polymerase chain reaction, with supplemental skills in cell culture, immunocytochemistry, heart perfusion, immunohistochemistry and post mortem tissue extraction. Strong written and oral communication skills, supervisory experience, and computer skills. Research interests are in neurodegenerative disease and mental health.
