Assessment

Students graduating with an associate of arts degree in accounting will possess:
  • Broad knowledge of financial accounting concepts and applications business situations
  • Broad knowledge of managerial accounting concepts and applications business situations
  • Apply information literacy skills to acquire and use data and information to respond to a real-world business problem or situation
  • Ability to communicate information and knowledge in oral, written, and digital forms.
The School of Business uses a combination of embedded assessments and nationally normed examinations. The accounting major embeds assessments in the respective courses.
