Minor in Spanish

Students pursuing any major may choose to pursue a minor in Spanish. The main goal of this minor is to increase students’ contact with Spanish thereby increasing their command of the language. Although it is not required, a study abroad experience in a Spanish speaking country is highly recommended.  In addition to completing SPA 131, SPA 132 and SPA 231, students must complete (with a grade of C or higher) 18 credits in Spanish at the 300 level or above, distributed as follows:
